Piraeus Port Plaza 1 is a 14,900 m² office building located in Piraeus which was certified with LEED v3 for Building Design & Construction at Gold level in 2018.

The old warehouse used previously by Papastratos Cigarette Company was converted into a modern sustainable office building utilizing LEED as a framework for maximizing sustainability. The Project team employed a variety of strategies to reduce energy and water usage, create a healthy indoor environment and rationalize resource demand. Passive design such as energy efficient glazing and advanced HVAC building systems contributed to considerable reduction in energy demand for lighting and cooling. In parallel, the design was optimized to provide improved thermal comfort conditions for the occupants and visitors. Piraeus Port Plaza 1 has been occupied by an international tenant contributing to the transformation of the entire area surrounding the Project and is in very close proximity to Piraeus Port.
