The Orbit is a multi-storey 40,300 m² major renovation project located at one of the prime avenues of Athens and was certified with LEED v4 for Building Design & Construction – Core & Shell at Platinum level in 2020. The Project was also recognized as part of the LEED Earth campaign for being the 1^st LEED v4 Platinum country wide.

The previously abandoned building was converted into a modern landmark multi-tenant office campus. Passive design, optimized HVAC systems, high indoor comfort criteria, sustainable materials, non-potable water use for irrigation as well as the extensive restoration of the habitat were some of the key sustainability characteristics of the Project. Furthermore, energy efficient curtain wall enhanced passive design which in combination with the active HVAC systems resulted in drastic reduction of cooling and lighting loads. The building is considered as one of the most successful real estate developments in Athens which managed to prove its resilience and future-proofing character in a transparent and comprehensive way.
