Electra Metropolis
Electra Metropolis is a 13,000 m2 building located in central Athens which was certified with LEED v3 for Building Design & Construction in 2017. It is the 1st ever hotel in Greece to achieve LEED.
The Project team implemented a range of strategies to renovate an existing office building into a luxurious city hotel. Prioritizing efficiency optimization, fostering a healthy indoor environment, and rationalizing resource demand were fundamental principles guiding the Project’s success. With the surge in demand for sustainable hotels, Electra Metropolis played a pivotal role in the global shift towards greener practices within the hotel industry.
This participation extended to the asset level, bolstering its intrinsic value while contributing to broader environmental sustainability efforts. Through this initiative, the Project not only transformed its premises but also reinforced its commitment to sustainable practices, setting a new standard for luxury hospitality.
