Kappa is 3,200 m² building located in Metamorfosi, Athens, which was certified with LEED v4 for Building Design & Construction – Core & Shell at Gold level in 2024.

This LEED Gold-certified major renovation project involved a comprehensive upgrade of the building envelope, installation of systems, and infrastructure, prioritizing energy efficiency and environmental sustainability. High-performance glazing and advanced insulation were implemented to enhance thermal efficiency, reducing energy consumption significantly. The project also integrated state-of-the-art HVAC systems and energy-efficient lighting, further minimizing the building’s carbon footprint. Water conservation measures, such as low-flow fixtures and a rainwater harvesting system, were incorporated to optimize water usage throughout the facility. The renovation emphasized the use of sustainable and locally sourced materials, contributing to both the building’s performance and its positive impact on the surrounding community.
