Digital Realty Athens 2 is an 1,800 m² data center building located in Koropi which was certified with LEED v4 for Building Design & Construction – Data Centers at Gold level in 2016. It is the 1^st data center in EMEA which achieved certification with the special version of LEED for data centers.

The Project is located on a campus with an existing data center as well as space for additional facilities and provides main or disaster recovery points of presence for large private and public organizations, as well as service providers in Greece and in southeastern Europe. Apart from data center services the project provides also host business continuity units, if required by clients. Digital Realty Athens 2 was developed to meet the increasing demand for premium interconnection and carrier-neutral data center services in southeastern Europe and complies with Uptime Institute’s Tier 3 standards.

Continuing Lamda Hellix, the previous project owner, historical reputation for 100% available data centers, Digital Realty Athens 2 evolves from the extensive technology ecosystem of Athens 1 promoting partnerships among carriers, enterprises and public sector organisations.
