Digital Realty Athens 1 is a 3,300 m² data center building located in Koropi which was certified with LEED v4 for Operations & Maintenance – Data Centers at Gold level in 2015. It is the 1^st data center in the world which achieved certification with the special version of LEED for existing data centers.

Lamda Hellix, the previous project owner, empowered organizations with mission-critical applications through its premier facilities and services, fostering increased system availability and reduced operational costs while maintaining autonomy. Participation in LEED has yielded numerous advantages. These include substantial energy savings, elimination of potable water usage for irrigation, and recycling of generated solid waste.
