Gilead Sciences Hellas Refurb. is a 1,800 m² interior office space located in Athens, Greece, was certified with LEED v4 for Interior Design – Commercial Interiors at Gold level in 2022.

The LEED rating system was implemented focusing on the unique needs of the spaces by addressing different waste streams and energy loads, location, human health, comfort levels, and much more. The refurbishment incorporated advanced energy-efficient lighting and HVAC systems, significantly reducing the space’s energy consumption while maintaining optimal comfort levels for its occupants. Attention to indoor environmental quality was a priority, with the use of low-VOC materials and enhanced ventilation systems to promote a healthier indoor atmosphere. Additionally, the Project emphasized sustainable materials selection, prioritizing locally sourced and recycled content, further contributing to its reduced environmental footprint.
