EREN Athens Offices is a 700 m² building, located in central Athens, which was certified with LEED v3 for Building Design & Construction at Silver level in 2014.

Transforming from a residential structure to a cutting-edge office space, this Project stands out as an element of sustainability, nestled near the iconic Athens Acropolis. Remarkably, it is the smallest LEED building in Greece. Leveraging the unique attributes of its plot, including dual major facades, the project capitalized on the reuse of the existing building structure and incorporated vital design elements such as abundant vegetation and meticulous material selection.

These strategies were pivotal in maximizing its sustainability performance to meet rigorous international standards set by LEED. Additionally, energy-efficient systems, water-saving measures, optimal indoor environmental quality, and innovative construction techniques were key factors contributing to its LEED success. The Project not only revitalized its purpose but also set a precedent for extending life span of existing buildings in Greece.
