Artemidos 8 – Building 2 is a new 20,000 m² office building located in Athens which was certified with LEED v3 for Building Design & Construction at Platinum level in 2019. The project hosts the headquarters of Mytilineos S.A.

Extended fenestration of the main facades allows penetration of sufficient daylight in the interior. External horizontal shading protects the building from excessive solar radiation and provides glare control, as their inclination is adjustable to the movement of the sun. Advanced LED lighting with dimming function boosts energy efficiency. The installation of thermal insulation and high preforming glazing contributes to minimizing losses and achieving preservation of the internal space temperature without unnecessary use of air-conditioning. Selection and installation of materials with high levels of recycled content and regional characteristics as well as exclusion of toxic materials were of top priority.
