Prodexpo 2018
Climate change is setting the real-estate against unpredictable challenges. Real-estate leads the charge when it comes to planning for a resilient and sustainable future. The cost of non-compliance is not affordable and cities will become more resilient to defend the stresses. Valuing the benefits of resilience will incentivize owners to make the right choices at the intersections of climate change and real-estate. Whether it’s short-term weather events, like flooding from heavy rainfall, or heat waves from long-term climate change, the show must go on—whether we call it “resiliency” or just business continuity and risk management.
