GBCI Circle 2024 | Panel Discussion with Charalampos Giannikopoulos

The Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF) has prioritized sustainability in its global initiatives, exemplified by projects like the SNFCC and the SNFGHI Hospitals located at Thessaloniki, Komotini and Sparta in Greece designed by RPBW Renzo Piano Building Workshop pursuing not only LEED Platinum but also aiming for zero carbon readiness. Through a strong partnership of the SNF with the U.S. Green Building Council and the Green Business Certification Inc. (GBCI), a transparent standard for addressing decarbonization challenges is set. What we’re witnessing today is a profound shift in our values and strategies to cope with climate change. This transformation prioritizes a double materiality approach as the basis of designing the built environment and shows us that a responsible project must primarily signal non-negotiable Ethos in the community.

Join us at this year’s GBCI Circle2024 on April 18th, 2024 for a discussion about the case of sustainability of the SNF Projects.
