Charalampos Giannikopoulos, MD at DCarbon, discusses the climate crisis as a challenge for protecting the real-estate industry in Forbes Magazine
The climate crisis as a challenge for protecting the real-estate industry in response to environmental and social disruptions was addressed by Charalampos Giannikopoulos, MD DCarbon, at his interview for the Magazine Forbes and Capital to Eleni Bota.
Charalampos addressed the risk for real-estate growth to slow down which would reveal the (un)readiness of the industry to preserve its values. Furthermore, he addressed how “expensive” the cost of a “green” investment really is and why Athens needs to ultimately become a sustainable and inclusive city not only on a technical but primarily on an operational level.
Lastly, Charalampos highlighted the importance for real-estate projects to signal the transition to a new era of ethos in order to reliably maintain value and achieve equitable growth.
