K268
K268 is 6,450 m² building located in Kifisias Ave., Athens, which was certified with LEED v4 for Building Design & Construction – Core & Shell at Gold level in 2025.
The project demonstrates the value of adaptive reuse in sustainable urban development. By renovating an existing structure instead of constructing a new one, K268 significantly reduced embodied carbon, minimized demolition waste, and lowered emissions linked to material production and transport. The building integrates high-efficiency mechanical systems, improved insulation, and optimized glazing to enhance energy performance and occupant comfort. In addition, attention to indoor air quality and natural light contributes to healthier, more productive workspaces. These features collectively support reduced operational costs and align with tenants’ sustainability objectives.
